Well, 1/4-20 hex nut hardware admittedly is not exciting, but these nuts are functionally just as expected and are also machined well - nice and shiny. If you need stainless steel nuts for corrosion resistance, then these are just as good (as far as I can tell), and less than half the price of 1/4-20 SS nuts available from Home Depot. For these SS nuts, I paid at $0.11 each for a box of 100. Last I looked, HD charged $7.45 for a package of 30, or about $0.24 eachI will be observing these over time to see if any corrosion appears in outdoor use, but so far, so good. Seller was proactive in contacting me unsolicited, in case there was any problem they could help with, but everything was good with this order. No problem orders are the ideal, of course, but it is nice to know Chenango Supply is ready to respond if needed.
