Replace my old crap Ford Fusion lug nuts (2015) with these. They did not seem to lose any surface wear after using an impact gunThese lug-nuts are very nice looking. They are a solid design, meaning that they are all one piece. I bought these to replace the capped type of design of a lug-nut. What the difference is, a solid type is just that, one piece.. or solid.. A capped type of design is a lugnut that is more like a standard lug-nut, that is open on both ends, but then a nice chrome looking cap is place over the top of it. The problem with that type of design is, over time, dirt, corrosion, etc can form or get under that "cap" and when it does, it makes the cap sort of like, bloat, in the center as it is pushes the cap outwards. When this happens, it can make it so that you can not get your socket, or lug-nut wrench on it like you should, and you may have a problem getting it off. Mine are starting to do this, and I can not even get the socket even half way on the lug-nut because of it.. Which means that they are not very likely to strip or round out, on the outside.. This type of design, or the solid design, does not have that problem, which is why I went with it.As for size, these were bought for a 2003 stratus. These, I would say are about 1/4" or so, taller then the factory ones. Since them being a bit higher will not hurt, I really do not care. These arrived, where all the lug-nuts were just put in a bag, and that bag was in the box that they show. These also use a standard, 19mm socket too.. The same size as what was already on my car.I tried these out, and the socket fits on it perfectly.. It slides right on and off of them. The finish is just about perfect. I say just about, because the only marking in it, is where the size is. They did put the size, stamped on the side of the lug-nut itself.. It is not in there very deep, and at a distance, you do not even notice it. You only notice it up close. The stamping are not in it very deep either. Also, this stamping is only on one side of the lug-nut.. 5 sides have no markings.. Personally, I am not really sure why they needed these stamping on them, but, whatever.. They still look a heck of a lot nicer then the ones on my car now.I checked the threads, and they are very well cut out. No rough edges, and full depth to the threads too. It went on to the stud very easily, and did not stick at all.Overall, I really have nothing bad to say about them. If anything, it would be nice if they sold these without the stamping on the side, but since it is in there lightly, and is not very noticeable, especially at a distance, I am not going to complain too much. Since no one has actually posted actual pictures of the lug-nuts themselves, and how they are stamped, I am putting up some pictures.. I was kind of worried about that after someone gave these a 2 star rating for it.. With that, I was hoping for the best, but expecting something that looked 10 times worse then they actually do. So at least now, you can see the stamping, and decide for yourself, if it bothers you or not.. Me.. No.. they don't.. But that is my opinion. I hope the pictures help you. I posted 3 pictures so you can get a better look at slightly different angles of them. They look very nice on my rimsGot these for my 2021 Ford Ranger. Eliminates the factory 2 piece lug nuts, which have a history of breaking/snapping.We have been buying these on repeat for the shop. Dorman and other name brand lug nuts have been going for 4-6$ per lug. These feel and look just as good.Bonus points for not being capped. Highly recommend.2013 Ford Fusion:For the price these are a decent way to replace the troublesome Ford two part lug nuts with a solid nut. To my knowledge those Ford nuts were in use from roughly 2000-2015 on various vehicles. They WILL go bad and cause you headaches so swap them out ASAP or you could be stuck with a flat some day and not be able to change your tire. Note that Ford isn’t the only manufacturer to use this design however I can’t say whether this particular replacement nut will fit those vehicles. for example, I believe Honda uses a rounded taper whereas these are a flat taper and others still use a std flat bottom with potentially a washer. Do your research before purchasing! After reading various reviews on these and other replacement nuts I decided to choose the black version simply because, at this price point, they are likely to rust regardless of which brand you buy and I just felt black would hide it better. whatever you choose make sure you aren’t buying another two part lug because some don’t make it clear in their descriptions. As for installation, my lugs were already separating and it took me a while to find the right size socket which I could hammer over the misshapen lug, be able to spin it off, then hammer the jammed lug out of the socket for reuse on the other 19 lugs. My first wheel took a very agonizing half hour but once I figured out to just treat them all as ‘bad’ I was able to finish the other 3 wheels in another 30 mins, for a total of 1 hr. I do a lot of my own car repairs and maintenance and had I known of these poorly designed lugs sooner I would’ve replaced them long ago.Painted the chrome wheels on my C6 Corvette so needed some new lugs to match. These are good quality, perfect fit and the finish has stood up to my impact gun multiple times getting them on and off without getting torn up. Time will tell but they seem like the finish will hold up for a long time. I’d buy em again.Inexpensive and no cap to get distorted/twisted causing expansion and difficulty removing from deep sockets. “Durability?” Only installed two weeks ago. “Easy to remove?” No reason to remove them yet.Lowest quality in a lug nut I've ever seen. I'm honestly a bit worried about going over 70 KM/h with these. The threads go bad under the slightest pressure and I tried to tighten it by hand and not with an impact wrench.Had to go to a local shop and bought much better quality lug nuts(I was surprised with their quality) at the same price and replaced the ones that had their threads broken. The oem lug nuts that came with the Escape had swelled to the point that the wrench wouldn’t go on them even with a mallet. Imagine getting a flat tire on the highway and you couldn’t get the nuts off the wheel. The nuts from DPA fit perfectly and look great. Chrome appears to be of good quality and time will tell. I suggest anyone who has a newer vehicle that came with the stainless steel jackets order these and replace the oem nuts.I was pleased when I received the nuts. Single peice design, nice weight, good quality black finish.I babied those things by installing them by hand without any power tools in dec/21. Today, april/22, there are hideous spots of is rust showing up after barely 1 winter on my car. They look just as bad as any other cheap brand would, but for more than double the money... Not good value. I expected way more durability from this price range. Save youself the touble. Go by cheap ones (or real ones).de très bonne qualité en métal solideI can’t comment about the product yet as I don’t know if I should put them on as the package was missing one
